Dos vocais, dois são muito bons, e o de Sarah Elizabeth Charles, fora o que ouvi no preview da iTunes Store, que me fez não ficar muito interessado em comprar. O de Maureen Budway, você pode ouvir em http://bit.ly/1jR06b8. Chris McNulty é uma australiana, ótima cantora. O álbum chama-se Eternal. Vale a aposta. Um quarto é o do cult Theo Bleckman, adorado por alguns e, por outros, não muitos. O repertório de A Clear Midnight | Kurt Weill and America é de composições de seu conterrâneo Kurt Weill e três de Julia Hülsmann, a líder do quarteto que acompanha Theo, sobre poemas de Walt Whitman.
Dos instrumentais, a oferta de bons discos é farta, a começar pelo brasileiro Nilson Matta, com seu East Side Rio Drive e continuando com Imaginary Cities, do saxofonista Chris Potter, Gefion do ótimo guitarrista Jakob Bro (leia sobre seus álbuns anteriores em http://bit.ly/1jQZZwk), Balance 38-58, do russo emigrado Alex Sipiagin, e Messin’ with Mister T, do guitarrista David Stryker. Muito bom também, talvez melhor que todos os citados neste parágrafo é Expedition 2, do Wolff and Clark Expedition. Mike Wolff é o tecladista e Mike Clark é o baterista.
